Solar corona as observed from the vantage point of Earth with the SDO/AIA 171 Å EUV filter on 2022 March 17. The white box is the field of view of EUI/HRI_EUV, covering AR-I. The displayed snapshot is closest in time with respect to the first image from the time sequence of HRI_EUV. During this period, SDO/AIA was operating in a special mode, therefore the roughly lower quarter of the image is not available. The intensity of the displayed image is on a log scale. North is up.
