Comparison between the integrated (XRB + hot gas) flux predicted using normal galaxy scaling relations as in Basu-Zych et al. (2020) and the observed eROSITA flux from sources detected in the eFEDS field. All eFEDS-HECATE matches with sSFR estimates are shown as unfilled black circles, whereas the spectroscopically classified normal galaxies are shown as filled blue circles. The light grey area represents the approximate dispersion from the scaling relations used to predict the flux of normal galaxies.
