Ray-bundle method. A central light ray (dotted line) is accompanied with four auxiliary rays A, B, C, D (red solid lines). Each auxiliary ray makes an angle ε at O with respect to the central ray. The distortion matrix is estimated by comparing the relative positions of the auxiliary rays in a plane orthogonal to the line of sight θ.
