Lower limits on the inner disc radius as a function of spectral hardness, as obtained from constraints on the quasi-thermal component in high-frequency covariance spectra. The horizontal dotted lines mark the ISCO for a Schwarzschild and Kerr BH. Results are obtained assuming an isotropic static X-ray source irradiating the inner disc (reflection fraction ) and with a small scale height compared to the disc radius.
