Observed (black dots) and best-fit Stokes profiles (solid lines) after the application of the Firtez-DZ inversion code (i-even): i = 0 (orange), i = 2 (green), i = 4 (red), and i = 6 (purple). The spatial location of these profiles corresponds to a quiet-Sun pixel (red diamond in the right-hand panel of Fig. 1.) The intensity as a function of wavelength I(λ), normalized to the average quiet-Sun continuum intensity Ic, qs, in the two Fe I lines at 630 nm is presented in the upper-left panel. The linear polarization profiles, Q(λ) and U(λ), are displayed in the upper-right and lower-left panels, respectively. Finally, the circular polarization profile, V(λ), is shown in the lower-right panel.
