Notes. The overlap is also illustrated in Fig. 5. All survey areas given in deg². Areas involving BOSS are extracted from a HEALPIX map with N_side = 2048 (due to the limited size of the random catalogue used to construct the footprint); all other areas are obtained from N_side = 4096 maps. The KiDS overlap is limited to full nine-band KiDS+VIKING coverage.
