Model grids that provide the L_[C II], L_[C I](1−0) (609 μm), and L_CO – to – M_H2 conversion factors for Z = 1.0 Z_⊙ (left) and Z = 0.1 Z_⊙ (right) for the particular model using a cloud depth of log N(CO)/cm⁻² = 17.8. The colour coding refers to density values ranging from log n_H/cm⁻³ = 1 (green) to 4 (purple). G₀ increases with increasing symbol size, taking values of 5, 20, 100, 200, and 500. To obtain the total molecular gas mass, which would include He, an additional factor of 1.36 (Asplund et al. 2009) should also be included for the total mass. We note that M_H2 in the CO-emitting region is very sensitive to the depth at which the models are stopped which corresponds to A_V ∼ 10 mag here.
