Velocity map of [NII] for the part of the mosaic that contains [NII]-features. The size is 80″ × 164″. North is indicated by the black line. The systemic velocity is 1750 km s−1. The northern parts tend to have higher velocities and the southern parts lower velocities, which fits to a general outflow. The most northern parts are the fastest, which may indicate a curved shape along the line-of-sight. This is less obvious in the southern parts. Other small-scale velocity fields are superimposed. The horizontal structure covering the centre is aligned with the galaxy’s major axis and follows its rotational direction. We therefore identify it with a dusty gas disc that is frequently seen in early-type galaxies.
