A large flare of KIC 2852961 on June 26, 2003, observed by HATNet. The slowly changing base light curve shown between June 10 and July 10 covers nearly a whole rotation period. Apart from the flare, the volumes of the nightly changes indicate the overall scatter of the photometric measurements.
