Mass spectra of the ovalene parent cation, C32H, mz = 398, at two different photon energies. At 9.5 eV, none of the photoionization or photodissociation channels are opened whereas at 15.5 eV, the doubly ionized parent ion, C32H, at mz = 199 is observed as well as the photofragments due to the loss of one and two hydrogen atoms, C32 H and C32 H at mz = 397 and 396, respectively.
