Fig. 4.

Time series of solar wind parameters averaged over 27.24 days and separated by solar wind type in the Xu & Borovsky (2015) scheme within each time bin. From top to bottom: proton speed vp, proton density n, proton temperature Tp, magnetic field strength B, oxygen charge-state ratio , perpendicular variability of the magnetic field ΔB⊥/B, Alfvén speed vA, specific proton entropy Sp, temperature ratio Trel, proton-proton collisional age acol, p-p, and monthly SSN. Each point represents the median of all observations within the respective time bin with the selected solar wind type. The error bars indicate a confidence interval from the 15.9th- to the 84.1st percentile (analogous to a 1σ confidence interval). As in Fig. 1, the color indicates the solar wind type.
Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
