Transfer functions shown on the top panel of Fig. 1 are applied to simulate distorted (skewed) multi-band light curves. Middle: curves are shifted back by their mean delay, ⟨δt⟩_λ, showing that there are residual misalignments due to convolution by skewed kernel that may bias delay measurements toward the peak of asymmetric delay distribution rather than its mean.
