Detector image of multiple scanning observations over Cyg X-1 during a half-year period of the eROSITA all-sky survey. Due to the scanning motion of the spacecraft, individual passages over the source appear as stripes on the detector. Their width is relatively narrow in the center of the FOV and gets wider towards the edge according to the different quality of the PSF. In order to obtain an image of the observed target, the individual events have to be projected to the sky, taking into account the attitude of the telescope at the time of each observation. The image shows the complete FOV of eROSITA ( diameter) and uses a linear scaling.
