The QMS cracking pattern of the desorption feature peaking at 157 K in the H2CO + H + O2 experiment (exp. 2), H2CO + H + 18O2 experiment (exp. 4), H213CO + H + 18O2 experiment (exp. 5), and deposited HCOOH (exp. 6). The patterns are measured for temperatures at 157 K for exps. 2, 4, and 5, and 142 K for exp. 6. m/z = 46 and 45 are the masses of the HCOOH+ and COOH+ ions, respectively.
