In test 1, Stokes I and Q are smooth functions of λ. In test 2, Stokes Q, U, and V show oscillatory behavior due to non-zero emissivity in Stokes U and a non-zero Faraday rotation coefficient. The errors in test 2 also show that the oscillation amplitudes, as expected, grow with x.
