Notes. The values are extracted from sinusoidal fits to the data (dashed curves in Fig. 6). For the fits, we use the same number of phase bins (20 bins) as shown in Fig. 6. For ⟨ΔA(t)/A̅⟩ we show the minimum and maximum values, along with the phase at activity maximum. The stars in range I are divided into two groups of cool stars (Teff < 4200) and hot stars (Teff ≥ 4200). The quantity rav is the correlation between the ⟨ΔA(t)/A̅⟩ and of the stars in each subsample. For the solar case, the averages represent averages over multiple cycles and no sinusoidal fit was performed.
