The fraction of quenched galaxies within our sample (fQ, with log10(sSFR) <  − 11) as a function of local density and in two different bins of stellar mass. Open symbols show the same fraction after correcting for our sample completeness. Error bars are computed using Poisson statistics. We find in both cases that the lower-stellar-mass galaxies show a sharp increase for higher-density environments whereas the highest-stellar-mass galaxies show no environmental dependence of fQ. Shaded regions provide an approximate estimate of the cosmic web environment given the measured overdensity (but see Sect. 3.3 for more details).

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
