Notes. The BIC and evidence values and its uncertainties correspond to the mean and the sample standard deviation obtained from the ten realisations of the synthetic samples, each containing the expected number of cluster members (3290). The uncertainty of the evidence also contains, added in quadrature, the value reported by the MultiNest algorithm (Feroz et al. 2009). For comparison, we also show the parameters of the power-laws and log normal functions of Bouy et al. (2015b), Kroupa (2001) and Chabrier et al. (2005).

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
