The solid black tracks correspond to the post-main-sequence evolution up to the tip of the RGB (low-mass stars) or to the onset of core He-burning (intermediate-mass stars), dotted blue tracks correspond to core He-burning, and dashed red tracks to the early and thermally pulsing AGB (TP-AGB) phase.
