Description of the sectors used in our models. The first panel shows the topology used in P08 and in most of our models (Table 7). The arrows reaching out of sectors #2 and #3 illustrate the fact that the fraction of escaping photon is significant. Optical depths at 1 Ryd are 1.18 and 0.05 for sectors #2 and #3 respectively. “CF” stands for covering factor. The sectors are drawn according to their respective covering factors but in reality the lines of sight are intermixed.
