Mass of the secondary component as a function of the orbital inclination: a fixed primary mass of M1 = 5.8 M⊙ is used to solve the mass function f(M) numerically for M2 (see Eq. (A.3)). The width of the shaded region reflects the 1σ-uncertainties of f(M) given in Table 1. The solution for M2 is not very sensitive to M1 and the uncertainties of the latter can be neglected here.
