The magnetogram is clipped between ±30 G. The step-function-like contours in the Hα and HMI panels outline the mosaic of the Echelle spectrograph observations (see Fig. 3). Intensity thresholding of the Hα filament and subsequent morphological dilation was used to create the generous contours of the filament in the Ca ii K and HMI panels.
