Spatial distribution of the surface radial magnetic flux Φ_Br. The average surface magnetic flux increases from left to right, showing the Sun (Min), HD 1237 (ZDI), Sun (Max), and HD 147513 (SH-ZDI). The degree of complexity is clearly higher in the solar maximum case despite the degraded spatial resolution. The perspective is preserved in all cases with an inclination angle of i = 60°.
