Planck/HFI 857 to 545 GHz brightness ratio versus MBB spectrum temperature, TBB, for three different values of the emissivity index (β = 1.6, 1.8, and 2.0). For our application, dust temperatures would be in the low end of the range, allowing some discrimination of TBB.
