Taking as reference a Solar spectrum defined by 5750 K, log(g) = 4.5 cm/s2, [M/H] = +0.0 dex, [α/Fe] = +0.0 dex and R ~ 11 000 (top panel), the following panels show the effect of (from top to bottom): a change in surface gravity to log(g) = 2.0 cm/s2 (second panel); and changes in the chemical composition (third, fourth, and bottom panels, showing respectively, [M/H] = +0.5 dex and [α/Fe] = +0.2 dex; [M/H] = −1.0 dex and [α/Fe] = +0.4 dex; [M/H] = −2.0 dex and [α/Fe] = +0.4 dex).
