Comparison of the X-Shooter optical and near-infrared spectra of the L (black line) and T (red line) components of the Luhman 16AB brown dwarf binary. Both spectra are normalised to unity at 1300 nm to highlight the differences in spectroscopic features of the two components. Both spectra are also corrected for telluric contribution. The main spectral features present in L and T dwarfs are highlighted.
