The customary astronomical scale for logarithmic abundances is adopted in this table. Hydrogen is defined to be log ϵH = 12.00, i.e. log ϵX = log (NX/NH) + 12, where NX and NH are the number densities of element X and hydrogen.

σ is the quadratic sum of the effects on the abundances caused by the errors of Teff, log  g, [ M / H ], and vt.
