CCM and new extinction laws for four values of R5495 (2.5, 3.2, 5.0, and 7.0). Extinction is normalized to the value at 10 000 Å in each case to emphasize that the extinction laws are the same for longer wavelengths and to better visualize the differences in the optical and NUV ranges. The extent of some filters in three common systems (Johnson-Cousins, Strömgren, and WFC3) is shown.
