UCAC4 proper motions (in milli-arcseconds per year) for our selected Gamma Vel members. The different symbols correspond to the various populations as described in Fig. 9. The proper motion of γ² Vel itself is shown with a cross. There are 6 objects that lie beyond the borders of the plot. These and the other very discrepant objects show evidence of binarity or lie very close to γ² Vel and are likely to have unreliable proper motions.
