means sky line residuals can affect the flux estimation. (R) refers to the fact that the rest-frame UV spectrum was normalized to the galaxy R band magnitude. Lyα emission line fluxes of “BX” galaxies are estimated from GOODS public spectra (5.7 Å/pixel, VIMOS-LR); of LAE27 are calculated from spectra obtained with VIMOS (2.57 Å/pixel, VIMOS-MR), of z3LAE2 and LBG11 with IMACS (1.3 Å/pixel) by MUSYC. Optical emission lines are obtained from our 7 Å/pixel spectra. To determine redshifts we assumed vacuum λLyα = 1215.67 Å, λ[OIII] 5007 = 5008.239 Å, λHα = 6564.614 Å. Column 1−3: emission line names, their central wavelengths, and implied redshift. An “??” indicates a formally infinite error. Column 4: emission line integrated fluxes. Column 5: continuum flux densities. Column 6: obs-frame equivalent widths of the emission lines listed in the 1st column. In the case of lower limits, the equivalent width is estimated from the 2σ upper limit of the continuum. The continuum σ is defined as its root-mean-square. Column 7: emission line luminosities. For a few of the DB sources we report photometric Hα luminosity as phot.
