Power spectra for the total velocity field (dot-dashed lines) and for the turbulent velocity field (solid lines) for the Virgo simulation at the three resolutions. The spectra are computed for a cubic region with the side of 250 kpc. The x-axis is in unit of 2π/L, where L is the size of the box. The features at k ≥ 50 only present in run LR are an artifact of coarse resolution.
