Left: image of SN 2006oz obtained with the SDSS telescope (MJD 54061.17). Right: deep i image of the field, obtained almost 5 yr after the SN with GTC/OSIRIS. The SN is coincident with the position of galaxy A. However, within a radius of 7′′, there are four more objects, including one that appears extended, labeled B, C, D and E, respectively. Their photometry is reported in Table 1. Both images are 72′′ ×  72′′. North is up and east is to the left.
