Notes.
Model parameters: (1)
a: radial distribution power law index; (2) h:
scale height,
h = H(r)/r = const.
or half-opening angle θ0; (3)
N0: mean number of clouds along the equatorial
line-of-sight; (4) Rcl;0: cloud radius at
rsub (in units of rsub);
(5) b: cloud size distribution index; (6)
Rout: the outer torus radius; 3 we define
the altitudinal angle θ = 0 in the torus mid-plane. Therefore we
use, for convenience, the half-covering angle instead of the half-opening
angle θ0 in the equations.
