KIC 8410637: a 408-day period eclipsing binary containing a pulsating giant star
by S. Frandsen, H. Lehmann, S. Hekker, et al., A&A 556, A138
The authors present new measurements of radial velocities of an important eclipsing binary system that includes a red giant star that displays solar-like oscillations. This allows the authors to retrieve masses and the radius of the red giant star, independent of asteroseismology. This opens the way to calibrating asteroseimology.
