HS Hydrae about to turn off its eclipses
HS Hya is an eclipsing binary consisting of two F stars discovered in 1964. HS Hya is one of the still rare binaries for which fundamental parameters can be determined from first principles. The present Letter shows that a third body in the system causes the inclination of the system to change over time. Eclipses are expected to stop soon.
