In section 6. Interstellar and circumstellar matter
“Dust driven mass loss from carbon stars as a function of stellar parameters I. A grid of solar-metallicity wind models”, by L. Mattsson, R. Wahlin, and S. Höfner, A&A 509, A14
The models for dust-driven mass loss from carbon stars have matured to the
extent that a full description of the dependence of the wind properties from
the stellar parameters can now be performed, as shown by this paper.
These results will be extremely useful for future stellar evolution modeling,
as well as for the analysis of individual carbon stars.
