The left panel shows the analytical IMF and 1600 randomly sampled ZAMS masses between 8-50 M⊙ to ensure that we are sampling the IMF correctly. The right panel shows the relation between ZAMS mass and ejecta mass of nonrotating core-collapse SN progenitors at solar metallicity in the GENEVA library (Ekström et al. 2012).
