Behavior of [α/Fe], [V/Fe] and [Zn/Fe] as a function of [Fe/H] for NGC 6553 (red filled squares). The α-element abundance is the average of Mg, Si, and Ca abundances for each star. For comparison, the abundance ratios measured in Milky Way stars (gray circles; Rich et al. 2012; Johnson et al. 2014; Battistini & Bensby 2015; Barbuy et al. 2015) and in the Magellanic Clouds and Sagittarius dwarf galaxy (blue circles; Minelli et al. 2021b) are also shown. Abundances of NGC 6553 are consistent with those observed in the Milky Way.
