Right panels: ℬ vs. Rph for fixed inclination angle. In the thin-disk case, the relevant vertical scale is the disk half-thickness hd, whereas in the thick-disk case the radial parameter shown is the inner disk radius Rd,in, as defined in Fig. 1. The thin-disk model yields only modest blocking when hd < Rph, while the thick-disk model shows rapid changes in ℬ as θin approaches and exceeds the critical angle θcr.
