Comparison of the predicted crater diameters from six scaling laws to two observed craters from the same parent source. The mass of the impactor is given as a range determined by the typically used value for η, 2 × 10−3 and 5 × 10−4. The bold lines is the value calculated using the group velocity of the Virginid meteoroid stream, and the narrow lines are 1σ errors.
