The colour code (right) shows the difference between the extinction values of individual stars according to Lallement et al. (2022) using the geometric distances, and those estimated by Hunt & Reffert (2023). The discrepancy in both distance and A_V values for stars/clusters at distance ≳3 kpc is significant.
