Table 2

Total fragment sum relative to methanol (FSRM) of the different groups of volatiles from this work.

Functionality Total FSRM (%)
CmHnN 235
CmHnNO 152

Acyclic 245
Cyclic 142
– N-Heteroycles 89 (O-functionalized: 36)
– NO-Heteroycles 41
– Carbocycles 12

Amines 39 (Methylamine: 17)
Nitriles 129 (Hydrogen cyanide: 81)
Amides 53 (Formamide: 12)
Lactams 20
Oxazoles & isoxazoles 41
Others (a) 105

Inorganic (b) 301
Organic (c) 292

Notes. (a)Others include the following less abundant functionalities: imines, isocyanides, isocyanates, and acetylated N-heterocycles. We also include all unfunctionalized N-heterocycles in this residual group, even though some would actually classify them as amines. (b)To obtain the total amount of inorganic N, we sum over the FSRM of HCN and HNCO (both from this evaluation) and add NH3 (FSRM = 172%), N2 (FSRM = 17%), and NO (FSRM = 17%). (c)To obtain the total FSRM of organic N, we deduce from the total CnHmN and CnHmNO FSRM (387%) the fraction assigned to HCN (FSRM = 81%) and HNCO (FSRM = 14%).

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
