Main-event shock surface, along with the magnetic field lines connecting Earth (green), STEREO-A (red), Solar Orbiter (blue), BepiColombo (orange), and Parker Solar Probe (purple). In the top panel, the shock surface is colour-coded by the fast magnetosonic Mach number (Mfms), while in the bottom panel, it is colour-coded by the shock obliquity angle (θBn). The associated online video provides a 360° view around the shock surface.
