Notes. Observations log of the RR Lyr spectra around maximum luminosity. When the quality of the data allowed us to determine the shock velocity, the nights are marked in bold. The columns provide the date of the night, then the corresponding Blazhko phase ψ of the night, the estimated S/N per pixel with 2σ around 6557 Å over 2.5 Å, the maximum shock velocity (km s−1) near φ ≃ 0.9, and the maximum residual intensity of the He I D3 emission and the He II emission components with respect to the continuum. When the intensity number is in parentheses, the visibility of the emission was blurred in terms of the noise level or continuum; when it is equal to zero, no emission was observed. When I is in square brackets, the spectrum on which their measurements were made was either the first or the last of the night, and it therefore might not match the maximum value.
