Chromospheric inverted-Y-shaped jet from the numerical experiment by Nóbrega-Siverio & Moreno-Insertis (2022). The panels show, from left to right: the temperature, T; the mass density, ρ; the magnetic field strength, B, with superimposed magnetic field lines; and the inverse of the characteristic length of the magnetic field, L B 1 $ ^{-1}_{\mathrm{B}} $. In panel (a), the temperature is masked for densities smaller than 2 × 10−13 g cm−3 to ease the identification of chromospheric features. An animation of this figure is available online with the evolution of the system from t = 33.33 to t = 53.30 min.
