Statistical distributions of the magnetic field (top) and equivalent diameter (middle) and eccentricity (bottom) of the different classes of sunspots. The colours are inherited from Fig. 1 for each class. The equivalent diameters were estimated considering the umbrae as perfectly round. The eccentricity is defined as the filling factor of the magnetic feature with respect to a circle with a radius corresponding to half of the equivalent diameter of the feature and centred in the barycentre of it.
