Comparison of the surface brightness and color profiles for the galaxies in our sample (except NGC 3486, which has already been presented in Sect. 4.4.2) using the standard GALEX pipeline (called GALPIP) and those derived here using a different estimation of the background (UV LSB). We also show how the profiles change when the effect of the PSF is taken into account (PSF deconvolved).
