Mass-loss rate versus Eddington factor for electron scattering for three samples of LMC O-type stars: Brands et al. (2022, red squares) Hawcroft et al. (2024a, yellow pentagons), and the sample presented in this work (green diamonds for the presumed single stars, and blue circles for the binaries). To each sample we fitted the mass-loss prescription of Bestenlehner (2020, their equation (12); see Table 5 for our best fit values). Within uncertainties the fits to the three different samples are in agreement.
