Photon spectral index as a function of integrated photon flux. We show all the blazars detected by Fermi-LAT (gray circles) and blazars selected for periodicity analysis with a variability index above 18.48 (dark gray circles). Our periodicity candidates are shown according to their AGN type: BL Lacs (blue circles), FSRQs (red triangles), NLSy1 galaxies (orange square), and BCUs (green crosses).
