Sample non-detections of galaxies at various stages of image analysis are shown above. The first panel shows the output of radiative transfer, the second panel shows the simulated noisy image with respect to NIRCam and the last panel shows the residual image obtained after a 5-sigma threshold is applied to remove noise. The final images lead to segmentation algorithm finding no credible sources.
